Joshua 1:9

I love the verse Joshua 1:9.  It always gives me courage and strength to persue what God calls me to do.  Being on staff at FCA as the Adminstrative Assistant for the past 4 years, has had it's ups and downs.  I love my job, but it is challenging at times.  We have such a large area to serve.  It is often overwhelming and just plain difficult.  There are so many needs down in this area and it is truly a blessing to be apart of a ministry that is trying to reach coaches, athletes/students, and campuses in general, with the love of Jesus Christ.  We face many adversities, but God has had much favor on the ministry of FCA.  I am amazed at how God uses our staff to reach a hurting area.  I get to work with some amazing people who have a heart for the RGV area and FCA.  It blows my mind the amount of time coaches spend with students and athletes.  They have such a huge influence on those students and athletes.  If we can reach those coaches through FCA, what a positive impact they can have in lives of millions of young people.  That's what FCA is all about!  I love that!

I wear many hats.  I am a wife of 20 wonderful years, a mom of 2 teenage girls,  a youth leader in my church, an only child, and admin. assit., but most important a believer in Jesus Christ.  We regularly have teenagers in our home.  I say we have a "revolving door" because there is activity all the time.  We even have a nickname for our house, "The B Hive"! I love students and have committed my life to that area a ministry.  Revival happens when students get on fire for God.  My family moved to the Valley area 8 yreas ago, from Corpus Christi,  and consider McAllen our home.  We have seen God do amazing things in our lives while being down here. 

I am excited to see what God has in store for our upcoming school year.  We continually try to make FCA exciting and offer a support roll for our coaches and Campus Huddles.  Thank you for letting me be apart of an amzaing organization like FCA.  I anticipate God doing BIG things in the future of our valley campuses.
